Since Nicole hasn't post:
Dear students
I hope all of you have rested well this June holidays.
This is my final email to all of you before we see each other on Monday, 29 June.
a) With the exception of Sue Hwee and Jerome who have travelled to affected countries during the past week, the rest of you will report by 8am on Monday. Also, please stay at home after visiting the doctor if you exhibit flu-like symptoms- fever, cough, sore throat, running nose.
b) These are the things you have to bring on that day:
WORKING thermometer
Travel Declaration form, completed and signed
Performance Dossier (or, report books)
Compre & Summary (2 passages: Harper Lee & Alan Paton)
Compre & Summary (Nat Geo)
Literature Circle Session Preparation for Session 6 (there will be a make-up session on Day 1 for last term)
Points 1 and 2 are the new items. As for 3 to 6, you are actually expected to bring them. However, I'd just remind you again, in case you forget. Nicole, I would appreciate it if you could also help to remind your classmates on the class blog.
c) For those people who still have not completed their e-portfolio writeup with accompanying pictures of artefacts, I am giving you till the end of Week 1 of Term 3. This will be the final extension.
d) Subject Reps (Wang Zhi, Fengyuan, Verene, Wan Xin, Kennard) please take note: You will have to collect homework for Sue Hwee and Jerome for the first week. Note down what your subject teachers have gone through during lessons and disseminate this information to Sue Hwee and Jerome via email daily. If there are hardcopy worksheets, please try to scan them at home, at the lab or at the library before attaching them to your emails. Please CC me the emails as evidence of your work done.
Since Jerome is the LA Rep, I will appoint Teo Yan Ting as the relief LA Rep for Week 1 when he is away. Yan Ting, please acknowledge this with an email reply.
Enjoy the last weekend of the holidays.
Regards
Ms Chan
