Hi 2G.
Year 2 has come to an end, and now we're going our separate ways. I guess many of you are overjoyed while others are super sad that we'll not be together as a class anymore.
Anyway, I've decided to post on class blog instead of writing on paper to all of you, cause its more environmentally friendly :D
remember.
Remember the first day of year 1, walking in to this classroom. Seeing all those unfamiliar faces. Haha, I still remember that the only guy I noticed during orientation was george (cause faith kept saying george do this do that).
Than slowly level camp came. Our first and only level camp(so far) in dunman high. The moments when we rushed the bus driver to drive faster so that we could reach downtown east earlier than the other classes. The quarrels over fusion night. The time doing the gamelan thing and Sarah being the princess and Kennard being the prince.
End of year class outing at nicole's house, the only sucessful class outing we ever had because mr seow helped to bring everything together. It was on the last day of school(right?).
Holidays, and 2009 came.
Somehow the class seemed to have matured more in a way, and also a new form teacher, Ms Chan.
The constant jokes made by jerome and zhang che during lessons with the teachers which made the lessons less boring and stressful.
The only class outing we ever had, which was a failure.
Not having any level camp due to H1N1 etc etc.
I guess, we've changed, matured and grown over the past two years. And the thing that has accompanied as all this while, 2G.
Maybe to some of you, this is just a class. You come to it every weekday, have your lessons, and leave. But remember, this is where you met great friends, and where most of you feel a sense of belonging.
Some of you may not like this class, I did not like it too once. But I really do hope that you all had a moment in 2G you all enjoyed.
As we grow older, let us remember that 2G was a special class in its own way. Heck the fact that we never were the top few in class league, heck the fact that alot of teachers did not like our class, heck the fact that we have the lowest average marks in the whole level. Who cares about class leagues? (hah, I actl once did) But than, after 10 years, will people actually remember which class won the class league?
And so, why is 2G special?
Because we're always a funny class.
Because we don't care about grades as much as other classes.
Because we are disliked by teachers.
LOL -.-
Anyway, I'm here to say that treasure 2G, even though we've separated. I know this is a bit late, but let the memories of 2G be imprinted in your hearts.
Who knows what the future will bring for us?
Who knows what kind of class will we have next time?
But for most of you, your sec 1 and 2 class will really mean alot to you next time, if I ain't wrong.
So for those reading, I hope that you all can like treasure the next meetup we officially have, which is class chalet. I mean, it doesn't matter if you can't make it for a day or two. If you can, and you want to, do try to turn up for a period of time during class chalet. I mean, I don't expect you all to attend everyday, its not like I can too -.-
Anyone wants a class dinner anytime? Nicole's planning if I ain't wrong :D
JUST DO NOT PLAN IT NEXT MONDAY-WEDNESDAY :D
